百草园
占地面积近2000㎡，植有蒲苇、斑叶芒、紫穗狼尾草、白美人狼尾草等各类观赏草近80多种。观赏草具须根，茎干姿态优美，单株分蘖密集，呈丛状，叶多呈线形或线状披针形，具平行脉，叶片的颜色除了绿色外，还有醒目的翠蓝色、白色、金色甚至红色，有些种类绿色间有黄色或乳白色、红色等条纹。花小，花序形态各异，有聚伞花序、圆锥花序、头状花序等，花序下常密生柔毛，形似羽毛，有绿、金黄、红棕、银白等各种颜色。
Herb Garden
The Herb Garden covers an area of nearly 2,000square meters. There are nearly 80 species of ornamental grasses in it, includingpampas, Chinese zebra silvergrass,pennisetum alopecuroides ‘purple’, PennisetumAlbus, etc. Ornamental grasses have fibrous roots and graceful stems. Every singleplant has concentrated branches, and the shape of most leaves are linear orlinear-lanceolate with parallel veins. Besides green, the color of leaves canbe striking turquoise blue, white, golden and even red. Somegreen leaves have yellow, milky, or red stripes. The flowers are small and the inflorescencevaries, including cyme, panicle, capitulum, etc. Usually, there are densetomenta under the inflorescence, which look like feathers. They have variouscolors, such as green, golden, reddish brown, silvery white and so on.
